You know everyone will be watching for the next Ronaldo Lupaz or William Huang on American Idol this year. I'm also sure we'll see some repeat performances from past freaks. Of course, you'll also have all your wannabe's who show up, knowing damn well they have no talent. They'll then start singing or doing a stupid act just to get attention. Everyone knows the pre-screeners let these jerks in to get a little air time.
Are they really that funny though? Most people I know actually felt sorry for Ronaldo Lupaz. Although I did think he was funny.
But some of those people do not have a life. Showing up at an American Idol audition and getting some attention from the likes of Simon, Randy or Paula is all their life is based on. Heck, who knows. The next time we see Ronaldo or William Huang, they may be on America's Next Top Model, and may actually win that compeition!
And to you family and friends who keep telling these low life's that they have talent, stop it! You're just prolonging their agony! Why would you want a family member to get up on stage and be humiliated like that? You know they have no talent, but instead of bucking up and telling them, you lie to them. This is even worse. Be brutally honest with them because once they find out the truth, they'll then resent you for having lied to them all these years.
